| '...until
we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God
and became mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fulness of
Christ' (Ephesians 4:13). The
way in which St Nicolas has grown in numbers over recent years is
great. However, a large church has some disadvantages. It is possible
to be lonely in the crowd, your needs as a person can seem to be
de-valued. HOME
GROUPS At
St Nicolas we aim to help everyone to grow as a follower of Christ as a
part of a small group. In small groups we aim to help one
another
to understand more about the way in which God works in our
lives. We do this through a mixture of prayer, Bible study and
discussion. Usually groups meet
on a weekly basis in
a home, but groups vary in their meeting patterns and in the balance of
their activities. There are groups meeting
on most weekday
evenings and Thursday mornings. Groups will often follow the Sunday
teaching programme with leaders' notes based on one of the Sunday
sermons.
OTHER SMALL GROUPS
There
also groups focussing on the needs of men ('Men's Group' - click here

women ('The Manna')
parents
with young children ('Daybreak' - click here
