Youth and Children’s WORK

There are both youth and children's groups available for ages 0 to 18 at St Nicolas running throughout the week. Details of the programme are set out below, and further information is available on the St Nicolas Youth Department website: http://www.stnyouth.org.

The groups that currently run are detailed below.

Sunday

9:15 - Early Birds : a Sunday School for 4- to 13-year-olds for the duration of the service.

11:00 - Creche : for children up to 4 years old for the duration of the service. ROTA

11:00 - Lambs : a Sunday School for Reception Year for the duration of the service. ROTA

11:00 - J-Team : a Sunday School for Years 1 to 4 for the duration of the service. ROTA

11:00 - Young Disciples : a Sunday School for Year 5 for the duration of the service. ROTA

11:00 - Pathfinders : a chance for those in school years 6-9 to investigate the Christian faith during the morning service. Pathfinder will usually start at 10:30 for some breakfast and finish at around 12:00.

20:00 - The Firm : is a chance for those in school years 10-13 to dig a little deeper and ask the tough questions of the faith. As well as this we try to mix in lots of chances to have fun and relax with friends.


Friday

16:00 - Drop In : an open house for those in school years 9-13 to come and chill out at the end of the week.

19:30 - TGI Friday : a youth club for those in school years 6-9 which lasts for 1½ hours.

OTHER YOUTH ORGANISATIONS

St Nicolas Church is also proud to be associated with the following organisations for youth in Newbury: Air Training Corps 211 (Newbury) Squadron, 5th Newbury St Nicolas Brownies, and X:SITE Newbury.
